We are delighted to announce that Cursor has achieved the IASME Gold Governance standard as recognition of our commitment to secure information assurance.
The standard allows small and medium-sized businesses to demonstrate the quality of their cyber security and show that they are taking appropriate steps to safeguard their customers’ information.
The comprehensive self-assessment covers a wide range of topics, such as governance, assets, data protection, risk assessment, people, security policy, access, firewall, configuration, patches, management, malware, incidents, monitoring and disaster recovery.
The IASME Governance assessment includes a Cyber Essentials assessment and GDPR requirements, as well as assessing business practices to ensure that staff are trained and managed in such a way that the risk of human error is minimised.
Achieving this standard proves our continued commitment to data security and reassures our customers that their data is in safe hands with us.
Daniel Westlake, Managing Director of Cursor, said, “Data is the lifeblood of the digital economy and as such we are delighted to achieve the IASME Gold certification in recognition of our expertise in information assurance, cyber security and data protection.”
