The client
Founded in 1996, ADHD Lincs (formerly Lincoln ADHD Support Group) is a registered charity covering Lincolnshire. Since inception, its mission has been to provide support to families and individuals living with ADHD, whilst educating professionals and the wider community. Their crucial work promotes positive attitudes towards ADHD and related learning and behavioural difficulties.

The opportunity
Like many small charities, ADHD Lincs have spent years delivering the best service they can to the people who need them most, within tight budgets. Unfortunately, with limited IT knowledge or infrastructure, Covid hit them pretty hard, causing difficulty in delivering the same services. However, as always, the team rallied and made it through, coming out of lockdowns still intact, but with the charity in less than desirable shape.
With a new found energy, ADHD Lincs approached Cursor to help them. They wanted an overhaul of their brand, better online presence, and improved digital infrastructure, initially planning to fund these changes through a grant application.
Cursor saw an opportunity to help and offered to cover this initial phase as our annual charity pro bono project, meaning we could get started immediately and not be delayed by grant processes.

Implementation
Right from day one, we formed a close working relationship with the ADHD Lincs team, exploring what ADHD is, how it affects people, and what services they need. These vital insights informed the design of the charity’s new name and branding.
A suite of logo formats was created and delivered, allowing use on a wide range of applications, from social media platforms to building signage. Together with the brand guidelines, the charity now has the tools to implement and maintain a consistent identity.
Working in such a trusted partnership, Cursor was able to provide technical expertise and advice, ultimately implementing new technical systems and services across their team.
Finally, a new central website was designed and built, providing accessible information and easy links to contact information and much-used social media channels.
