The Awards give us the chance to celebrate the amazing work that businesses and entrepreneurs are doing across the region to raise the profile of the local technology industry.

This was the fifth year of the Awards, taking place in the Epic Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground. The ceremony was presided over once again by BBC Radio Lincolnshire presented Melvyn Prior, who has hosted the awards every year since their inception in 2015.

It was a record-breaking evening in many respects with more businesses and individuals nominated (over 140) and shortlisted (over 60) than ever before, and Cursor was honoured to win the Digital Agency of the Year award.

The judges said "Cursor are showing their ability to sustain growth and support local employment, with their focus on retained turnover particularly impressive and important for their future."

"Through this they're showing their ability to not only grow a business, but grow this in a sustainable and efficient fashion whilst keeping their customer's happy.

"Not an easy feat. They have a fantastic roster of clients and projects ranging from local Lincoln businesses to international brands. As well as this they have a commitment to diversity that really should be applauded!"

Cursor Managing Director, Daniel Westlake said: “The last 12 months has been an amazing journey for Cursor. We have focused on our relationships with customer organisations and by becoming a trusted partner embedded in their teams, deliver results that are simply not possible in stand alone projects. It's our customer success that is the real reward but I'm delighted that Cursor has been recognised with the Digital Agency of the Year Award."

This marks the third consecutive year in which Cursor has won an award at the Lincolnshire Technology and Innovation Awards. In 2017 Daniel won a special award for Contribution to Technology, before Cursor was recognised for Digital Innovation in partnership with the Lincolnshire Co-op last year.

The award is a testament to the dedication and ability of our team over the last 12 months, so we are immensely proud that our hard work has been recognised and to be part of the thriving Lincolnshire technology scene.

Congratulations to all the award winners and nominees!
